At the most southern tip of the
island of Rhodes you will find the cape of Akra
Praso at Prasonisi.
During the summer months a sand
bar is exposed creating a choice of contrasting
shores; swelling surf and breeze on the northwest
side making Prasonisi a prime spot for

windsurfers, with calm, clear waters
on the eastern side perfect for a day’s sunbathing.
The road leading down to the cape has a fantastic
view of the sand bar, which is only visible during
the summer months.
Prasonisi has a range of tavernas,
restaurants and cafe bars making it a great place
for a day out whether you are looking for surf
or a relaxing day in the sun.
